Let's Start With a Question

How do you feel when you read this statement:

"Financial investment is a spiritual practice. As you learn to embody the presence of your spirit, your ability to create, flow, and hold wealth infinitely expands."

Take a moment. Really notice what comes up.

The Voice of Resistance

Can you name the voice inside that immediately resists? Maybe it whispers:

  • "Spiritual practice and wealth cannot co-exist"
  • "I'm not smart enough to invest"
  • "What if I lose all my money?"

These voices are familiar companions for most of us. They've been shaped by generations of conditioning that tells us money is somehow unspiritual, that wanting wealth makes us greedy, or that we're not capable of understanding "complicated" financial concepts.

But here's what I want you to consider: is it also true that another part of you felt a spark of excitement reading those words? A recognition that maybe, just maybe, there's another way to think about money and investing?

If so, you're not alone.

My "First" Investment (And Second, And Third...)

Let me share something vulnerable with you. I didn't just make one "first" investment—I made many, again and again throughout the 2010s.

You might wonder how someone keeps having a "first" time investing. Here's the truth: each time I invested, I didn't yet have the inner coherence to hold the vision through. Fear of loss would crash in like thunder. Self-doubt took over completely. The solid ground beneath me would instantly crumble.

I would act out in ways that damaged my relationships. I would abandon my investments, again and again. Every single time, my soul experienced the pain of contraction and a deep sadness for not being able to expand into the unknown.

The pattern was exhausting. But it was also teaching me something profound about myself.

The Turning Point

So how did I go from repeated contraction to growing my portfolio?

Yes, I studied investment strategy. Yes, I surrounded myself with people who genuinely love investing and understand markets. But most importantly, I did the inner work.

I healed the money wounds passed down through my lineage. I released the beliefs that whispered I wasn't smart enough, wasn't worthy enough, wasn't enough. I learned to invite my spirit to be present in every financial decision I made.

This integration changed everything.

Your Next Step: Preparing for the Journey

Before you dive into any investment strategy or program, I want to invite you to do something radical: get curious about what's already inside you.

Take a moment this week to sit quietly and ask yourself:

  • What stories do I tell myself about money and investing?
  • What beliefs inherited from my family still whisper in my ear?
  • What emotions arise when I imagine myself as someone who confidently makes investment decisions?

Don't try to fix or change anything yet. Simply notice. Observe with compassion. Write down what you discover.

This inner preparation is not separate from your investment journey—it is your investment journey. The clearer you become about your internal landscape, the more aligned and powerful your external actions become.

Your resistance isn't your enemy. It's information. And that information is the beginning of your transformation.
